I was living in Minneapolis at the time which was personally important. (I had recovered from a hip fracture and given an important cable speech on my book.) I had called that winter and found that the family that owned the land had postponed tours because of medical problems in the family, but by April the tours had resumed. A team of astronomers, including two from San Diego State University, today announced the remarkable discovery of a five-planet system some 1,200 light years away with two super-Earth-sized planets that could support life as we know it.
The two planets, which both have what astronomers call "endless oceans," are the most Earth-like that researchers have found to date in terms of both size and temperature, according to William Welsh, professor of astronomy at SDSU and co-author of the study published today in "Science".
"These planets are unlike anything in our solar system. They have endless oceans," Lisa Kaltenegger, an astronomer at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, said in a statement today. "There may be life there, but could it be technology-based like ours?"
In an era when scientific research too often gets thrown under the bus both by politicians and the media, this is exciting news that deserves our attention. I hope it's talked about in science classes across the nation tomorrow. Funding for this work was provided in part by NASA and the National Science Foundation.
The planets are located in the so-called "habitable zone," a region around a star where liquid water could theoretically exist on a planet's surface. Since water is a requirement for life as we know it, planets in the habitable zone are particularly interesting to astronomers.
"The composition of the planets is not known, but it is possible they are rocky. If so, and if liquid water is present, there's a chance these planets could harbor life," said Welsh. "At only 60 percent and 40 percent larger than the Earth, these two super-Earth planets are the smallest planets yet discovered in the habitable zone."
"These two planets are our best candidates for planets that might be habitable," said Bill Borucki, a space scientist at NASA's Ames Research Center who is the principal investigator for the 600 million Kepler mission.
It's estimated that he new planetary system, which is located in the constellation Lyra, is approximately 7 billion years. That's somewhat older than the solar system.
The planetary system, known as Kepler-62 (right), contains five planets, ranging from 0.54 to 1.95 times the size of the Earth. The innermost planet orbits its star every 5.7 days, while the outer one takes 267 days to complete one orbit.
The star itself is smaller and fainter than Earth's sun with 69 percent of the sun's mass, 64 percent of the sun's radius, and only 21 percent of the sun's brightness.
"Since Kepler-62's star is only a fifth as luminous as our sun, the planets in its habitable zone have to orbit much closer to it, resulting in a much shorter year," said co-author Jerome Orosz, associate professor at SDSU. "For the two planets in the habitable zone, Kepler-62e and Kepler-62f, this is 122 and 267 days."
Welsh and Orosz have been working on the Kepler mission since 2008, contributing their expertise to the discovery of dozens of new planets. "The Kepler mission continues to be a great success," said Orosz.
Added Welsh, "All five planets are smaller than twice the size of the Earth, and one is even the size of Mars,.This is an absolute gem of a planetary system."

Calvin Parker Jr said he encountered the UFO when he was 18 years old while fishing with his friend Chase Brandon.
And he has spent the past four decades shunning the press attention that the incident attracted.
He has moved jobs and home several times over decades to avoid being detected.
When questioned he said: "This is something I really didn't want to happen."
Parker and Brandon, then 42, were on the banks of the Pascagoula river in Mississippi in October 1973.
The pair were approached by a UFO with blue lights that made a zipping noise.
They were levitated and taken aboard the craft. Parker said they were then examined by what appeared to be a large floating eye.
He said: "They gave a thorough, I mean a thorough, examination to me just like any doctor would."
They were then left behind on the banks of the river.
It became one of the most high profile cases of a UFO experience in American history after Roswell.
UFO enthusiasts believe the government got hold of alien bodies in Roswell, New Mexico, in the 1940s and examined them.
The American government has spent decades denying it.

Ufo Sighting In Westlake Louisiana On April 16Th 2012 Object Appeared To Be Made Of Energy Like A Giant Atom
On April 16, 2012 at 21:06 (9:06 PM), I stepped out my front door to take out the trash.It had been raining to some degree for the past day or two, and the rain had finally let up, with very low thick rain clouds covering the entire area. As I stepped on my front porch, I observed what I thought was a very low commercial jet with its landing lights on about a mile away directly to the West. On the way back into the house, I observed the object still due West, and very slowly moving South, well below the very low thick rain clouds. I stopped and observed the object for about 20 seconds and noted that it appeared to be pulsating and moving too slow to be a plane, plus there was no noise coming from that direction. I immediately ran into the house and grabbed my binoculars and Sony Handicam. I first looked through my binoculars and observed the most beautiful object that I have ever seen which consisted of a perfectly round white ball of light (or energy)that was closely shrouded by a blue colored field that appeared to be electrical in nature. In addition, the white ball center was being orbited systematically by what appeared to be smaller red balls of energy that appeared to be some type of plasma. The systemactic movement of the red orbs around the main white center neuculus reminded me of the rapid timed movements of a engines pistons firing in secquence. Surrounding the large white center neuculus, orbiting red orbs, and blue electical field; were a perfect ring of rose colored neon like lights blinking around the far outer perfect circle surrounding all the inter workings of the object. This gave me the impression that this was an outer ring of the same very large object, although no structure or lights could be seen between the center orb and the rose colored ring of lights circling around the center a great distance to the outside. After observing this with my binoculars, and catching my breath, I began videotaping the object as it slowly moved between two trees in the distance. Object was believed to be about 500 feet off the ground and over a mile away to the West. Object was HUGE! The video showed the object go behind a tree in the distance, then the object appeared to shoot straight up into space with a flash from behind the tree. (A blast of static was recorded on my video when the object blasted up into space in a flash, even though the volume was turned off on the camcorder). I watched the video about 50 times and my neighbor about a dozen times, before the video was loss likely from a defective DVD Disc. (Still have the disc if someone knows how to retreive the video off of it?).I did save still shots of the video to my cellphone, but can not attach them here, but I can email them if needed. I drove to the area where the object was seen without seeing it further. I did note that high voltage power lines were in the area that the object was observed.

SEKILAS TENTANG SETAN, DAJJAL DAN YA'JUJ-MA'JUJ
Mari sejenak kita cari informasi tentang misteri tersebut pada sumber informasi terpercaya milik kita, Al-Qur'an dan hadits. Al-Qur'an telah mengabarkan kepada kita tentang banyak keghoiban yang mesti kita imani secara "absurd". Salah satunya tentang adanya jin, bala tentara, kerajaan, dan tabiatnya. Bangsa jin mempunyai alam sendiri yang tidak pernah bisa kita lihat, tetapi meraka bisa melihat kita. Bangsa jin diberi kekuatan yang melebihi kekuatan manusia. Bangsa jin memiliki kecepatan lari melebihi kecepatan cahaya, sehingga mereka sering pergi ke langit untuk mencuri-curi informasi dari karajaan langit. Bangsa jin adalah makhluk Allah yang juga mengemban syari'at ketuhanan. Mereka juga layaknya manusia yang mempunyai kewajiban-kewajiban syari'at yang harus dilaksanakan dan kelak juga meraka akan dimintai pertanggungjawaban terhadap apa yang telah mereka lakukan. Bangsa jin ada yang beriman, ada yang fasik, munafiq juga ada yang kafir. Menurut pendapat yang masyhur, iblis dan setan adalah salah satu dari bangsa jin yang senantiasa menggoda manusia. Demikian halnya dajjal juga merupakan manifestasi dari sifat setan atau iblis yang kelak di akhir zaman akan ditampakkan oleh Allah dalam bentuk fisik. Dajjal disebutkan berulang-ulang dalam Hadits, sedangkan Ya'juj wa-Ma'juj bukan saja disebutkan dalam Hadits, melainkan pula dalam Al-Qur'an. Dan kemunculannya yang kedua kalinya ini dihubungkan dengan turunnya Al-Masih. Kata Dajjal berasal dari kata dajala, artinya, menutupi (sesuatu). Kamus Lisanul-'Arab mengemukakan beberapa pendapat mengapa disebut Dajjal. Menurut suatu pendapat, ia disebut Dajjal karena ia adalah pembohong yang menutupi kebenaran dengan kepalsuan. Pendapat lainnya mengatakan, karena ia menutupi bumi dengan bilangannya yang besar. Pendapat ketiga mengatakan, karena ia menutupi manusia dengan kekafiran. Keempat, karena ia tersebar dan menutupi seluruh muka bumi. Pendapat lain mengatakan, bahwa Dajjal itu bangsa yang menyebarkan barang dagangannya ke seluruh dunia, artinya, menutupi dunia dengan barang dagangannya. Ada juga pendapat yang mengatakan, bahwa ia dijuluki Dajjal karena mengatakan hal-hal yang bertentangan dengan hatinya, artinya, ia menutupi maksud yang sebenarnya dengan kata-kata palsu.Kata Ya'juj dan Ma juj berasal dari kata ajja atau ajij dalam wazan Yaf'ul; kata ajij artinya nyala api. Tetapi kata ajja berarti pula asra'a, maknanya berjalan cepat. Itulah makna yang tertera dalam kamus Lisanul-'Arab. Ya'juj wa-Ma'juj dapat pula diibaratkan sebagai api menyala dan air bergelombang, karena hebatnya gerakan.
Dalam surat Al-Kahfi, segera setelah menerangkan pertempuran satu sama lain antara Ya'juj wa-Ma'juj pada ayat 99, ayat 102 menerangkan persoalan Dajjal. "Apakah orang-orang kafir mengira bahwa mereka dapat mengambil hamba-hamba-Ku sebagai pelindung di luar Aku?". Ini menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur'an mempersamakan Dajjal dengan Ya'juj wa-Ma'juj. Mereka diberi nama yang berlainan karena mempunyai dua fungsi yang berlainan.
ADAKAH KAITAN ANTARA SEGITIGA BERMUDA DENGAN KERAJAAN SETAN DAN MUNCULNYA DAJJAL?

Finding Bigfoot Just A Reality Tv Show
On Saturday June 2nd, 2012, the UFOnut team consisting of myself, Matt Morgan and Trina Bivens met with one of the eye witnesses at the sighting location in Bailey. We spent the next four hours investigating the area where the eye-witness and her friend had the encounter finding a multitude of evidence which verified and solidified their sighting. A full report plus a video of our investigation "Episode 010: Bailey Bigfoot Returns" was released on the UFonut.com website within a couple of days after that investigation.
I then returned the following week with Bailey area Search and Rescue tracker Dennis, to retrieve a motion sensing camera I had left at the site. While there I utilized Dennis's expert tracking techniques to confirm the evidence the team had found a week before. To much surprise, not only was Dennis able to confirm what we found was very unique and not of human origin, but that Dennis himself found new exciting evidence we had missed. Thank you Dennis!
After releasing this investigation to the public, Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot staff had seen the video and read my investigative reports. Very interested in the eye witnesses sighting and the evidence from my investigation, they decided to visit Bailey while in Colorado researching an old 8mm film footage of a possible Bigfoot.
The following information is about their Episode 31, portraying my eye witnesses sighting.
In late September early August, I was contacted by a representative with the Finding Bigfoot show, asking for my help by delivering to them notes and detailed pictures of my investigation. One of the eye witnesses had also been contacted by the show asking permission to film her about her sighting too! The other eye-witness had since moved, and was enjoying the sunny weather in Florida.
Show taping day, my wife Tammy and I arrived in Bailey early Saturday morning September 9th, to meet with one of the eye witnesses. She wanted to go back to the site and go over the investigation I did, so as to refresh herself with my findings and be fully prepared for her taping.

Dennis met us at the sighting location to help me mark with orange flags, all the places we found evidence Bigfoot had been in the area. Our intention was to have the area marked and ready for the Finding Bigfoot team which would help them with their investigation while filming with the eye-witness. This would make my eye witness's sighting more solid with evidence than other "hear-say" sightings, which have been on their shows in the past.
Based on my notes, my pictures, and still outstanding evidence, we were able to recreate the path Bigfoot ran marking it with orange flags.

To our surprise, evidence still existed from the Bigfoot encounter. One crucial piece of evidence was this log in which something large and heavy had stepped on, damaging it from its weight. The log was in direct line with Bigfoot's run.

Another crucial piece of evidence was found by Dennis while with me a week after my initial investigation. This evidence which you can still clearly see, shows something extremely large had sat down. Dennis verified this was not an animal den and clearly showed a rump and right hand depression showing something very large had sat there and pushed himself up to leave.
Remember Dennis is a Search and Rescue tracker and looks for evidence like this pointing to the direction of lost hikers. He's familiar with similar evidence like this made by humans but not of this magnitude of size. Someone very large and heavy replicated a much smaller human sitting, then getting up.

After spending a couple of hours marking the area Bigfoot ran and marking all still existing evidence, we ventured back to the lodge area for the Finding Bigfoot Town Hall Meeting scheduled for 5:00pm that night.

The building where the Town Hall meeting was taped, packed up with eye witnesses, investigators, and friends of friends who had Bigfoot encounters. The meeting ran about three hours and the Finding Bigfoot team was very patient and professional.
Note: For all future Finding Bigfoot town hall guests; If you haven't personally experienced an encounter with Bigfoot, please don't waste everyone's time by telling a story about a friend of a friend. Without first hand personal experience and no evidence to back it up, it's just a story, maybe a good one, but it's still just a story.

The episode shows the team splitting up with James Fay and Ranae Holland investigating the eye witnesses sighting while Matt and Cliff take off on other adventures.
Now this is where the episode goes somewhat sour for me, as a real investigator.
At the location of the Bailey sighting we had previously marked Bigfoot's run including locations in which evidence still existed. While the eye-witness was there for over three hours of taping, not once did Bobo or Ranae ever look at the evidence we marked. Sure they asked her a lot of questions, but never inquired about the orange flags! They never took the time to have her walk out to the area where the flags were located so she could explain them. She could have easily pointed out the flags depicting Bigfoot's run which would have helped Bobo and Ranae's investigation and recreation. During the show you can clearly see my orange flags behind Bobo while he was talking, so you know the flags were there during taping.
Bobo (James) did re-create Bigfoot's run, but according to the eye witness, ran less than half the distance I ran, and not exactly where I had placed the flags. Bobo's run might have been done for camera angles, lighting and other, and it appeared it was just for a production shot and not for a real investigation. Bobo mentioned during the episode, the reason he didn't run very fast, was fear of falling down on the uneven terrain. In my investigation video, I ran the total distance twice at top speed wearing knee pads and heavy gloves in case I crash and burned. Neither Bobo nor I was able to recreate the speed of the Bigfoot in which the eye witnesses had experienced. This proves at least two men, one just under 6 foot, and one well over 6 foot, couldn't recreate the Bigfoot run at speed!
What the women saw that day was not a man running through the forest! Too bad for you skeptics.
So here is a TV staged mockery of my investigation and the sighting. Out of all the evidence I gave the production company, out of all the evidence we marked for them reflecting the actual investigation, none of it was ever considered. Not that I was expecting to see my evidence on the show, I was at the least expecting real investigators to at least look at it.
So now the hundred (bad economy) dollar question? Why did James (Bobo) agree the eye-witness actually saw a Bigfoot if he never even considered the evidence I left for him? Was it because my previous investigation blog and video was so good, that he accepted the sighting as valid? Or was he there just to tape a show?
I'd like to thing it was because of my investigation.
As for Ranae, I had talked with her and described my investigation in some detail. I also told her I marked key areas for them to see when they film the eye witness. All she could say was, "We don't know who or what investigations we'll be looking at, we'll decide that after the Town Hall Meeting". But it was the eye witness's sighting and my investigation which brought them to Bailey, we know this because we were both contacted by the production company separately!
Is there a lack in communication between the production company and the investigators? No, I'm sure the team knows, the sightings they investigate need to be kept a secret until the show airs. Ranae was just doing her job.
So what about their investigation? Is it real or TV Reality?
It appears the Finding Bigfoot Team are more reality actors than actual investigators now, well at least for the show. Matt, James and Cliff have a history of being investigators before the show aired on Animal Planet, so we know they are authentic. While I was there I was able to spend a little time with Cliff, James and Ranae and we talked about investigations in general. They're really nice individuals and are very up-in-their-game when it comes to "Squatching", so I know they know their stuff. Unfortunately the show may be limiting them to what they can or can-not do. What a shame.
Will I ever work with the show again? Not sure, I've worked with Ping Pong Productions in the past and it's always about the show and never about the witnesses or the investigations. It's, "What can you do for us, and do it for free", never about the human side of the investigation portraying the evidence properly. Like I said, they are a production company, and very good at what they do. They may come across seeming like A-holes from time to time, but they're just doing their job they've been contracted for.
As for the Finding Bigfoot Team, it appears they're just doing their job too, which happens to be Reality TV, at the moment.
