Took the dog outside and noticed a very bright object in the sky. At first it looked like a quasar but then I noticed it was moving across the mountain tops in a slow deliberate line. There was no sound as it moved but it moved so slow that it could not be an aircraft such as a plane or helicopter. The light from the object changed color from red to orange to yellow in quick succession. I watched as the object disappeared behind the mountains but noticed that the light from it gave off a bright aura that never changed its brightness. As it slowly came back from behind the mountains it continued on its slow deliberate path until it went behind a larger group of mountains and I could not see it again. I honestly have never seen anything that bright or slow moving in the sky. It was a moonless night and the skies were clear. I am a former soldier who's MOS dealt directly with aircraft identification so I know the difference between small prop planes, jets and helicopters. I do not know if there were any local radar tracks that could confirm what I saw.

Sitting on my front porch with my daughter in Gerton NC which faces East looking over Black Mountain and I spotted a ridiculously huge orange glowing cross hovering in the SE. I made my daughter turn around so she could see it. We both watched as it hovered, pulsed, dropped down a bit, rise up a bit, morph into diamond, then star like then triangle like and slowly traveled towards the SW. It was still in the Gerton area or maybe Bat Cave but it just disappeared. We could still see the sky where it should have been but it was gone and at that point we witnessed a plane traveling fast from the SE as if it were trying to catch it. At one point we had both visible and it was very obvious that the plane was dwarfed by the UFO. It was huge.

I was driving north on highway 55 near Herculaneum Missouri when I seen two sets of lights in the distance. The first set of orange lights were boomerang shaped with one orange light in front and one orange light at the back of each arm and one light in the middle of each arm. To the side and behind me about fifty feet I saw more orange lights shaped like an upside down 30 degree angle. There was one orange light on the front, one on each end, and one in the middle of the upside down V like shape. Traveling from the North East towards the South West both crafts came over my car. They took about 45 seconds to pass over and were approximately 500 feet above me. I pulled over and watched the lights pass. I could not see any thing in between the two and I could not hear anything. The lights stayed in a steady motion appearing to go about 50-70 miles an hour with traffic traveling out of sight over the horizon. After seeing this I just wanted to forget all about it I saw my first ufo in approximately 1974, and I still cant get that one out of mind. Seeing these last two ufos about a month and a half ago and not being able to get it out of my mind I decided to look on the internet to be able to share my story and found MUFON. We had just finished lunch and it was 1:45pm and we were on our way heading North on interstate 5 when I observed a funny looking bright object in the sky out of the passengers side of window.I asked the person riding with me to keep an eye on the object and when it went from 1 to 2 objects and the person made the comment that one of the objects changed shape and that a picture was being taken of the objects so as soon as the picture was taken the objects separated a little more and then vanished. The interesting part is that when we looked at the picture that was taken with an I phone we noticed tiny little orbs around each object that we couldn't see with the naked eye and when enlarged you could make out the bigger objects as Bright saucer shape.
