Let's examine some of the enigmatic personalities behind the INITIAL RUMORS about the alleged Dulce base - how it all started, i.e., 1979 through 1983.
PAUL BENNEWITZ.......owner of THUNDER SCIENTIFIC CORPORATION "(contractor to KIRTLAND AFB)", located right next to the entrance of KIRTLAND AFB in Albuquerque, NM, presently operated by his sons...............from around 1979 Paul Bennewitz began to witness some strange lights hovering over Manzano underground nuclear storage area, not too far from his residence in the Four Hills area of Albuquerque.
Some researchers ("such as GREG BISHOP") theorize that he was looking at some tests of Project Starfire ("laser-based optical tracking system being developed at that time by SANDIA LABORATORIES next to Manzano") or possibly some tests of prototypes of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) developed by Sandia Laboratories at that time.......Paul Bennewitz later became convinced that those objects were somehow related to an underground base in northern New Mexico near Dulce.....articles on Bennewitz soon began to appear in newspapers such as the Albuquerque Journal and Albuquerque Tribune.
Paul Bennewitz began to suffer from paranoia and was later institutionalized......he passed away in 2003....his remains are buried in Veterans Cemetery in Santa Fe......Paul Bennewitz' sons seem to refuse to be interviewed.....the main reason being that THUNDER SCIENTIFIC CORPORATION still does business with KIRTLAND AFB....they sell military grade humidifiers and callibration instruments, many of which were developed,modified and improved by the late Paul Bennewitz.....Paul Bennewitz' wife, Cindy Bennewitz, still lives at the residence, which is located close to the Manzano underground nuclear storage facility ("which allegedly was closed down in 1992") in the Four Hills area of Albuquerque.....
MYRNA HANSEN......in 1980 she claimed to have been abducted near Cimarron, NM and claimed to have been taken to an unknown underground location......She was at at that time a resident of Eagle Nest, New Mexico......Paul Bennewitz interviewed her at his house, together with Leo Sprinkle who did a hypnotic regression....Paul Bennewitz later on decided that she must have been taken into the Dulce base.....this was allegedly only after Bennewitz begun to suspect that there was a base in Dulce....later on, a Richard C. Doty ("who was with AFOSI Kirtland AFB at that time") suggested to her that she might have been taken to an undergound weapons storage facility.
TOM ADAMS......he was investigating cattle mutilations in the late 1970s....Tom Adams first heard about the Dulce base from reading Paul Bennewitz' article in newspaper and other sources from around 1981....it is alleged that Tom Adams knew "Ann West").
"ANN WEST"......her true identity is not confirmed, although Tal Levesque claims that she is on Facebook with a different name (Cherry Hinkle, who claims that her "half-alien" cat has lived for 29 years).......alleged to have been an acquaintance of Tom Adams...claimed to have drawn the initial pictures of the vats of the Dulce base in 1987, yet claims to have never heard of Paul Bennewitz before........allegedly knew Tal Levesque....also claims to have known "Thomas Edwin Castello".....Tal Levesque claims that she visited him and his wife and also "Thomas Edwin Castello" in Santa Fe......Tal Levesque claims that Ann West is dangerous and is part of the "invisible government"......However, Levesque's claim (that Ann West is part of the "invisible government") could be disinformation.
JOHN LEAR.......heard about Dulce allegedly from "Ann West".... befriended TAL through John Grace (a.k.a. Val Valerian)......according to Tal Levesque, John Lear retouched the Dulce drawings of "Ann West" that he received in 1987......he first came up with his Hypothesis in 1988 about Dulce and also about Area 51....John Lear has never been taken seriously by the UFO community....some people suspect that John Lear purposely throws in some ridiculous-sounding items as part of PSYOPS....he recently claimed that there are cities on the back side of the moon.
TAL LEVESQUE.....a.k.a., TAL or JASON BISHOP.......(his real name is Thomas Allen LeVesque....French for "The Bishop", thus his a.k.a.)....he claimed that he worked in Santa Fe as a security person for a private company around 1980 or 1981.....he claimed to have begun contact with "Thomas E. Castello" who, Tal Levesque claims, worked in the same company in Santa Fe......."Thomas E. Castello" allegedly revealed his secrets to Tal....("the secret was that there was an underground U.S./alien bio-lab under Archuleta Mesa, next to Dulce and that he had worked as a security person at that facility").....but before coming out with this "Thomas Edwin Castello" story, Tal Levesque also seems to have heard initially about the Dulce base rumors from reading about Paul Bennewitz....Tal Levesque claimed that he was visited by a tall Reptoid at his home in Santa Fe in 1979......he currently lives in Mariposa, California.
"THOMAS EDWIN CASTELLO".....of course, there are many persons with the same name.....however, a retired Air Force Colonel who claims that he was involved in Dulce, claims that there has never been a Thomas Edwin Castello that was ever employed as security personnel in Dulce.
CHRISTA TILTON.......some researchers seem to say that she came to the scene slightly after "Ann West".....they say that Christa Tilton and Tom Adams were initially partners.....and that she was in touch with Myrna Hansen......according to Tim Beckley, Christa Tilton later on got together with Wendell Stevens.....Christa Tilton was said to have distributed her manuscript, "The Bennewitz Papers" in 1987......She claimed that she was in touch with a Richard C. Doty ("formerly with AFOSI at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque")......Christa Tilton was featured on a Japanese TV program about the Dulce base back in 1989 and 1990.....Christa Tilton flew over Archuleta Mesa and over Soldier Canyon with Junichi Yaoi of Nippon TV in 1989....she appeared on Japanese TV a couple of times....and claimed to have taken a photo of a circular structure over Soldier Canyon, which is slightly SW of Dulce....Tilton, in her manuscript "The Bennewitz Papers" expressed her belief that the whole "Thomas E. Castello" story was a fabrication......"Ann West", in turn, reportedly claimed that Christa Tilton's information was not credible.
BRANTON.......a.k.a., BRUCE WALTON......beginning in the early 1990s, he compiled a book called the DULCE BOOK....and aslo DULCE WARS.....Walton allegedly got most of the information from TAL...some from John Lear, some from Val Valerian (John Grace)....Tal Levesque claimed that Bruce Walton was incarcerated in 2009 in Utah for felony charges.
GABE VALDEZ.......retired New Mexico State Patrol Officer who was in charge of the Dulce area for many years (from the early 1970s to the late 1980s)......he passed away on August 6, 2011 at his residence in Albuquerque....Valdez claimed that the government was most likely responsible for the cattle mutilations which started happening from around 1975.......he claimed that the government may have begun to periodically monitor the radiation levels of certain cattle some years later, after the 1967 underground nuclear explosion (Project Gasbuggy) which took place about 22 miles southwest of Dulce.....Valdez also stated that the government "staged" several UFO incidents in the Dulce area ("Archuleta Mesa, etc.)" by use of high tech equipment such as prototypes of holographic image projections as well as unmanned aerial vehicles or remotely-controlled platforms that were made to resemble "flying saucers"....Valdez believed that bio-warfare experiments were conducted at Dulce and that "UFO/alien" stories were concocted by the government as cover stories to conceal various Black Projects in the area.
WILLIAM "BILL" MOORE.....who first propagated (or "revived") the story about Roswell in 1980 when he (together with Charles Berlitz) published the book INCIDENT AT ROSWELL ("until this book came out", "most Americans had no interest or knowledge about the Roswell incident since it was long forgotten and dismissed as misidentification by the U.S. Army in 1947")......he claims that around the same time that he began to propagate the Roswell story, he was working with Richard Doty of Kirtland AFB and participated in a disinformation ploy to saturate Paul Bennewitz ("who was pursuing his independent investigations on Dulce") with false information on the Dulce base.....so he claimed in a 1989 MUFON Conference that took place in Las Vegas, NV....however there is no verifiable documentation whatsoever that Moore participated in such disinformation ploy in any official capacity.....except for his verbal "confession" that he made at a 1989 MUFON conference in Las Vegas, Nevada).
RICHARD C. DOTY.....initially with Kirtland AFB AFOSI around 1979, 1980 and 1981......he was not a high-ranking officer.....he claims he participated in disinformation, along with Moore.....again, there is no documentation that he participated in such disinformation ploy at Kirtland AFB AFOSI in any official capacity.....even though Paul Bennewitz' name and Doty's name appear on one or two Kirtland OSI documents because Kirtland AFB invited Bennewitz to testify to what he allegedly was seeing over Manzano storage areas.....later on Richard C. Doty became a promoter of the SERPO PROJECT ("which some researchers seem to describe as being a total fabrication")...Project Camelot seems to have bought Doty's story hook, line and sinker......presently he is working as New Mexico Highway Patrol Officer....about to retire in a couple of months.

The most sane person, SURPRISINGLY, may have been Paul Bennewitz himself and Gabe Valdez.
It is quite possible that Paul Bennewitz had long only PRETENDED that he had been "brainwashed" by some within the AFOSI, while he continued to conduct his own investigations into Dulce. But, nevertheless, he couldn't himself overcome his growing paranoia. Another possible scenario may have been that there was a dissension among the AFOSI and an element among the group may have provided Bennewitz with some crucial information on Dulce.

He only came to the scene in 1995.
It was only in 1989 that Bob Lazar first came out with the story that there was an altercation between the U.S. military and "alien entities" in an underground installation. Lazar never specified any location.

A BABY CHUPACABRA? READ ON...!
The chupacabra is unquestionably one of the most famous and iconic mystery beasts of modern-day cryptozoology. So when a photograph purportedly depicting a mummified baby chupacabra appears online, it is evidently going to attract plenty of attention - and the above example opening this present ShukerNature blog post is certainly no exception.
Perusing a number of websites containing and discussing it, the most commonly repeated claim made by them is that this supposed chupacabra infant was discovered under an abandoned barn in a small village in Chiapas, Mexico, during the barn's demolition in or around July 2007, and cannot be identified with any known species of animal because a series of DNA, fur, and tissue tests all proved inconclusive. As can be seen here, the photograph is copyrighted to the somewhat oddly-named Dr Zeehc H. Ted.
The reality, of course, is very different. Even a brief examination of the well-preserved specimen is enough to confirm that it is a gaff, i.e. a fake taxiderm specimen composed of body parts from various different species deftly combined together. The principal component appeared to be a baby mammalian carnivore, almost certainly a raccoon "Procyon lotor", judging from its dentition, shape of its paws, and general body and facial conformation. The spines inserted upon its head resembled claws.

In search of clues concerning its real origin, I scoured the Web and soon uncovered the truth behind the travesty (albeit an extremely skilfully-executed travesty!). Just as I suspected, the 'baby chupacabra' was a fake - one of many spectacular examples produced by a male United States (and wonderfully ingenious) gaff creator on the deviantart.com website, who memorably refers to himself as 'Creator Of Things That Should Not Be', and whose user name is dethcheez, This in itself is (or should have been) a major clue to anyone attempting to track down the photo's origin - the name of the latter's copyright owner, Zeehc H Ted, is of course dethcheez spelt backwards!
As for the specimen itself: the deviantart.com page containing the original photograph of it, and which can be directly accessed HERE (the hand holding the specimen was added later to this photo), was uploaded on 26 April 2007 by its creator, dethcheez, who unambiguously labelled it as a "Mummified Baby El Chupacabra Sideshow Gaff Created from 100% Real Parts". But what are these parts? Reading down the comments below the photograph, all is swiftly revealed, because they were correctly identified on 10 December 2009 by a viewer with the user name inkaholic1089, as verified in a comment posted underneath that of inkaholic1089 by dethcheez himself two days later. Namely, a baby raccoon with the claws of a snapping turtle "Chelydra serpentina" used for its spines.

Another controversial carcase is controversial no longer - and can thus be filed away alongside the likes of the Montauk corpse, Trunko, the Feejee mermaid, and many other monsters of misidentification and fabulous frauds. Moreover, it demonstrates how specimens clearly identified as fakes by their creators (as I noted earlier, dethcheez unequivocally referred to it on his deviantart site as a manufactured gaff) are nonetheless all-too-often deemed genuine and erroneously circulated as such online by many other, less discerning people. It also emphasises, however, as I have previously shown with the fake black lion photos circulating online (click HERE and HERE), just how easy it can often be to expose such specimens' true nature simply by taking time to trace their origins via the internet. This is why it is so surprising to me that such searches are not conducted more often and more vigorously, because this approach would soon eliminate them from the database of genuine cryptozoological mysteries.

Of course, removed entirely from a cryptozoological perspective, there is no question whatsoever that as artistic creations, the gaffs of dethcheez are exceptionally well-produced, compelling, and diverse - other expertly-manufactured examples from this artist's bedazzling menagerie of fantasy fauna include a Jersey devil corpse, a newly-discovered unicorn shark, a vampire mummy's head, a Burmese centi-spider, a mummified devil turkey head, a two-tailed twelve-limbed sand scorpion, a mummified alien mothman (a novel variation on the Jenny Haniver/devilfish theme!), a snake-headed terrapin, a mummified baby dragon and a baby dragon skeleton, a giant clawed centipede, a mummified baby unicorn, the mounted heads of Peruvian vampire fishes, a mummified winged piglet, plus a vast assortment of shrunken heads, and much much more!

Not hope for ago, if you had ask the witnesses in a insult town in Northeast Texas, they would carry told you that they didn't anticipate in alien craft, or extraterrestrials. Two young men, out hunting, reported seeing a bright white, spherical, light on the ground some little distance away. Next night it was seen again. In 1983 one of the men began recalling memories of a two hour time lapse on one of those nights. He consciously recalled that they were both surrounded by a blue light as they went near the object. They were floated through a hatch into a grey coloured, rectangular room in the UFO. After being put on two "benches" they were examined by several tall beings. The beings were hairless, grey, and had grey bulges where we have eyes. Slit like mouths and flat noses, with no ears were described. During the examination, and without tearing their clothes, the beings connected "wires" to the men.
The reporting man, felt "used" as if a specimen. They were then returned to the original spot where they had been.

Hey Brian, I have reason to believe that I once again encountered aliens.
I remember waking up two nights ago (Wednesday Morning), and seeing a shadow. When I woke up, I was already sweating. I saw a shadow on the wall in front of my bed that resembled the figure of an alien creature. I was completely shocked. The shadow was not moving, was very detailed. I could see contours of its body very clearly (If It was an extra terrestrial), but in my sleep-deprived state, I quickly assumed it was just a shadow from a curtain or some object. I then suddenly, fell back to sleep again.
What I didn't check was what the shadow was being caused by. On the left hand side of my bed, there is a window. I usually keep the window open at night, and out the front of our house, is a bright white streetlight. I didn't look out the window, but there was absolutely nothing blocking the light in my room. Outside my window perhaps, there was a figure that could have been there.
Another strange thing to add is, that the next day, after blowing my nose, I noticed a lot of blood in my left nostril. My right nostril had no blood however. Also, when I woke up, I noticed that the joining part between my face and nose was "torn", but not bleeding. I have also noticed a few bruises on my arms. But I have not noticed any strange markings, like what I found a couple of months back.
For some reason, I can breathe easier through my left nostril than my right; so perhaps, my left nostril is larger inside than my right. What I make of the situation is that the shape of my right nostril was too small for a probe or something, and forcing resulted in a small tear between my nose and my face. So instead, the left nostril was tried, and successfully, whatever they were doing worked.
Call it farfetched, but I honestly believe I did encounter some presence of an Extra Terrestrials that night. There is too much evidence now to shrug it off.
Now, like straight after the previous incident, I probably won't be able to sleep at night.
I have seen a number of UFOs in the past years, and believe to have had a number of ET encounters. I have found identical scarring on both I and my mother's back, and at the age of 5, woke up with a broken foot and bleeding nose.
Definitely, strange things are happening in my area.

A man named Mark retired to bed one night at about 11 p.m. Shortly after closing his eyes he lost all sense of sound and feeling and found himself travelling in a tunnel through space. Looking forwards he noted a light at the end of the tunnel. His next awareness was of lying on a table in a "craft". He was medically examined by three beings. One of the beings seemed to be a female human, with long blonde hair. The other two were some one point five metres tall, fat, and of a dark brown colour. These latter two had plumpish faces, large eyes, a large nose, bigger lips and ears than us. They addressed him in English, and seemed like scientists. When they introduced a "scanner" to check him over he "freaked out" and woke up in his own bed. All his teeth felt numb and his knuckles were white.

Holes in the Heavens
If you look out toward our galaxy the Milky Way you will see an uneven distribution of stars. In certain parts of the Milky Way, between the stars, things can get a little murky.
In the constellation of Sagittarius for example there are dark patches that become particularly noticeable towards the point of the Galactic Centre. It was the British astronomer William Herschel who, in the 18th Century, described these regions where starlight from distant stars appears to dim as "holes in the heavens".
By the late 19th Century Edward Barnard had photographed the regions and reported vast cloud formations with a remarkable structure he described simply as lanes, holes and black gaps. Astronomers in the early 20th Century began to think of these regions in terms of viewing dark bodies of material rather than regions completely devoid of stars - a kind of cosmic fog.
Sir Fred Hoyle and Prof Chandra Wickramasinghe
The world renowned British astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle, who came from my home town of Bingley in West Yorkshire, and Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe, from Colombo in Sri Lanka began looking at the nature of this cosmic fog.
In 1960, the same year Chandra Wickramasinghe began his postgraduate work under Sir Fred Hoyle at Cambridge University, the cosmic fog was believed to be made up of water-ice particles.
The collaboration of Hoyle and Wickramasinghe would see them challenge not only the widely held view about the composition of the cosmic fog - which had become known as interstellar grains - but also the orthodox geocentric (Earth centred) theory of biology.
Interstellar Grains
Their initial scepticism about the water-ice theory was aroused when it became apparent that water-ice would quickly evaporate away even in the cold depths of interstellar space. The question they asked was a simple question of identity. What were the interstellar grains composed of?
It was known that the grains were of a quantity that was as large as it could be, only if all the carbon, nitrogen and oxygen in the interstellar space were actually contained in the dust grains. There was simply too much of it for it to be comprised of the next commonest elements found in interstellar space - magnesium and silicon.
The Road to Organic Carbon
By the mid 1970's technological advances allowed measurements in both visible and infrared wavelengths to be made with ever increasing resolution. By 1974, after investigating a number of inorganic candidate materials without success, Hoyle and Wickramasinghe found that complex carbon-based polymers - in particular, polysaccharides - appeared to provide the best match with the data they were seeing. However, it was at this point that the two astronomers inadvertently ran into trouble.
From their perspective, the molecules that comprised the majority of interstellar grains were simply the product of mineral chemical reactions. Radio astronomers had discovered organic materials in interstellar space as early as 1937. However, on Earth polysaccharides (which include cellulose and starch) are predominantly of biological origin. Hoyle and Wickramasinghe had unwittingly crossed the line of a cultural taboo - mixing observational astronomy with biology.
Shortly after publishing this work Hoyle and Wickramasinghe began to experience hostility from journals referees and grant application assessors, making it increasingly difficult to continue and to promote their work. But continue they did.
A Biological Solution
Over a decade after starting out their investigation into interstellar grains Hoyle and Wickramasinghe had shown the presence of organic compounds formed the major component of the interstellar grains. They had a match for the spectroscopic data in the form of polysaccharides, and a solution to the light refraction properties in the form of hollow particles - all for grains of interstellar dust which just happened to be the size of typical bacteria.
The journal referees and grant application assessors who had been hostile before would soon be having kittens as Hoyle and Wickramasinghe began looking at dead and decaying bacteria as a solution to the nature of the interstellar grains.
Experimental Confirmation
Using existing library data for bacteria they calculated what the extinction of starlight for hollow particles would be and found an excellent fit to the astronomical data; one that had previously been unavailable with other theoretical models.
On the strength of this they had one of their colleagues measure the actual infrared properties of a number of different species of bacteria in the laboratory. To everyone's surprise they found a remarkable consistency of the absorption profiles. The extinction of visible starlight seemed to suggest that bacteria could make up a significant amount of interstellar grains.
If this premise were true, then the interstellar grains would need to have the characteristic absorption in the infrared spectrum that had been found for bacteria samples measured in the laboratory.
It wasn't long before Chandra Wickramasinghe measured the infrared absorption properties of the interstellar grains that lay on a path from the Galactic Centre to the Earth. He found a remarkable correlation between this and the experimentally derived data.
Counter Arguments
Chemists with experience of Infrared Spectroscopy soon argued against the conclusion stating that the infrared results could be produced by a variety of non-biological organic materials. Hoyle and Wickramasinghe had examined hundreds of infrared spectra of other materials at this point without success and so they were a little sceptical of the chemist's certainty.
They asked the chemists to provide them with explicit examples of substances that could account for the observations. None were forthcoming with one possible exception of a claim to have yielded undefined "organic residues" that may possess only some of the desired properties.
The astronomers found that their work was being rejected - not using scientifically acceptable hypothesis testing - but simply as unfounded opposition due to a cultural bias against the nature of the claim.
Hypothesis Testing
Carl Sagan famously claimed in his 1980 book Cosmos that "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence".
This quote is often cited by people attempting to justify rejection of ideas that they cannot reject evidentially. Ironically, the statement is itself an extraordinary claim as it is at odds with the accepted paradigm of using the scientific method; involving hypothesis testing with experimentation on falsifiable premises.
The theory of the biological solution to the interstellar dust had simply not been evidentially refuted. It was the strongest theory available for the nature of the interstellar dust.

A New Domain of Biology
Sir Fred Hoyle and Dr Chandra Wickramasinghe did not assume that the bacteria grew in interstellar space. Their working hypothesis was that the bacteria would likely be dead and in the process of decay.
They proposed that bacterial replication is a product of star formation in environments that are suitable for organisms to grow. After which bacteria are expelled into interstellar space.
They considered that the most likely place where bacteria could flourish would be within comets which, early in a solar systems history, would be heated by radioactive decay - providing a liquid water interior for extended periods of up to millions of years for giant comets. The proposed biomass of the cometary bodies in our own solar system would be more than a billion times the biomass of the Earth.
Only a tiny fraction of viable bacteria would need to survive being expelled into interstellar space in order to seed colonies in other star formations - such as our solar system.
Unearthly Traits
According to NASA a viable strain of Streptococcus mitis was recovered after two years on the surface of the Moon. A little closer to home, bacteria have been found to survive outside of the International Space Station (ISS). Viable bacteria have been recovered from an operating nuclear reactor - where they were actually feeding on the steel in the reactor core.
Bacteria are hardy organisms that have been shown to have the ability to survive extremes of temperature and pressure without loss of viability. The ability of bacteria to survive extremely high doses of radiation and even to repair themselves in environments of continued high radiation are not traits that you would expect for organisms whose genesis and evolution was on the Earth. These are characteristics necessary for survival in space.
Comet Halley
The return of comet Halley in 1986 provided an opportunity to test their hypothesis that microbial life exists in the solar system within comets. This premise required that particles ejected from the comets nucleus into the coma would include organic molecules. The existence of organics would refute the widely held premise that comets are simply ice and rock - the "dirty snowball" model.
Using observations from Earth and the space probes Giotto (ESA) and Vega (Soviet) the dust from Comet Halley was found to be largely organic with about 90% of the comets surface covered by a dark inert material.
Infrared spectra of the comet recorded by the Giotto space probe showed spectra comparable to the bacterial model spectra. A study of comet dust published in the journal Nature rejected the idea that organic components where biological in nature because phosphorus ions (P+) were not detected by the on-board mass spectrometer. However, Wickramasinghe discovered that the data matched phosphate ions (PO+, PO2+ and PO3+) showing that phosphorus was indeed present.
By the end of 1986 the cosmicrobial model had been shown to be the stronger model than the dirty snowball model. Although it required that astronomers avoid cherry-picking the data to suit pre-existing notions and allowed the possibility that life is not limited to the domain of planet Earth.
Fossil Evidence
Carbonaceous chondrite meteorites are fragments of asteroids that have remained relatively unchanged since the formation of the solar system 4.6 billion years ago, and are commonly found to contain organic compounds. A meteor of this type fell to Earth near the town of Murchison in the Australian outback in 1969. When examined under a scanning electron microscope a freshly created fracture in fragments revealed complex structures with the appearance of blue-green algae microfossils.
More recently in January 2013 the mainstream press reported on a study of a rock that fell to Earth in Sri Lanka on December 29th 2012. The specimen reportedly contained evidence of fossilised diatoms (algae) in a carbonaceous chondrite meteor.
This was of course refuted by some respectable scientists and other commentators alike. To date, no one has refuted the claims by application of hypothesis testing. It would appear that they do not feel that they even need to employ the scientific method to refute something which, in their own world view, is simply not possible.
Incidence upon the Earth
From their initial discovery of bacteria in space, Sir Fred Hoyle and Dr Chandra Wickramasinghe began looking at incidents of diseases. They suggested that problems with the theories regarding person to person transmission of diseases are circumvented when the trigger for the disease originates from space. Diseases ranging from influenza to the bubonic plague, they argue, are examples of predominantly vertical incidence of viruses, viral particles and bacteria from space.
Regardless of what you believe about the moon landings, the outward appearance presented by NASA was that astronauts returning to earth needed to be placed in quarantine in case they picked up a disease from space.
Extraterrestrial DNA

BACKGROUND:
This video purports to be of an Grey alien being filmed

The footage first came to light on the Art Bell radio show on 13th March, 1997
when ufologist Sean David Morton was interviewed. Morton claimed the
interrogation was fairly recent, sometime in 1996, and that renowned UFO expert
Bob Dean apparently cried at the advanced screening of the film.
Famed author Whitley Strieber who wrote about his close encounter experiences
in the book, "Communion," stated, "There are things about this footage that are
particularly striking. Some of the least known features reported by witnesses are
presented here. If this tape is not authentic, then it must have been made by
people with very special inside knowledge."
The color video footage, which lasts for a total of two minutes and fifty-five
seconds, was apparently smuggled out of the secret Groom Lake "Area 51" facility
in Nevada by a man referring to himself as "Victor". The video film depicts a Grey alien being interrogated
at the government facility.
After claiming to have smuggled the film out of the Groom Lake facility in
Nevada, Victor resolved to have the footage broadcast on network television as
soon as possible in order to publicly expose his claims. Victor believes that if
his identity is discovered and he is subsequently assassinated, this would only
further help to confirm the claims and authenticity behind the film.
CONTENTS OF THE VIDEO
After seeing the interview footage, Morton provides a chilling and detailed
description of what he saw:
"The film was shot through a large plane of glass. There was no sound
accompanying the images. The interview took place in a darkened room, lit with an
eerie greenish glow, I could make out the silhouettes of two men, one dressed in
military uniform with what appeared to be the stars on the epaulet of his jacket,
and another more casually dressed man with his hand occasionally rubbing his
forehead. They sat with their backs to the camera at one end of a long table,
which was littered with wires, chords and microphones. There were what appeared
to be medical devices. One in particular was blinking erratically, as if it was
monitoring a very sick heart. And there sitting at the end of the table was a
small, beige-skinned, black-eyed, bulbous headed creature, the like of which
haunt the nightmares of thousands of unwilling abductees."
Morton made many references to the creature's sick appearance and condition.
The alien made very jerky movements and kept bobbing up and down. He continued to
describe the apparently distressed state the creature was in.
"Its skin was a pinkish beige, but the rest of the head looked purple and
bruised, as if it had suffered severe contusions across the skull."
The contents of the tape grew progressively more disturbing. Towards the end
of the tape, the creature goes into what appears to be violent spasms, as if it
was having a seizure. The mouth of the alien opens and closes before a foam

Very recently a friend told me that two of his friends experienced a UFO flying closely over them while sitting by a field and that he believes them. After some reassuring, it led me to tell him my own story and ever since, I've been looking for reports and stories by other people that I can relate to.
In 1999, my family moved from Regina, Saskatchewan to Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada) to be closer to relatives. It took us over a year to fully settle in Winnipeg and we would have to take very short trips between the two cities often throughout that first year to bring back more belongings or deal with some unfinished business and property transfers. That summer I had just turned 16 years old and I was particularly observant of the experience of being on any road, even while I wasn't driving. I was not a confident driver and was paranoid of having accidents.
In early November of that year (I think it was before/around remembrance day), my brother and I had a long weekend off from school and we wanted to join our father on his next quick trip back to Regina to do some business. He would only be there overnight and half of the next day, but we wanted to visit our old school friends.
That night on the highway, there was a heavy storm. We left later than planned, and it quickly became dark just after 4pm or 5pm. I remember feeling quite nervous because visibility was very poor. We could only see a few meters in front of us and the anxiety made me keep focus on the road - to be a second pair of eyes on our surroundings - while making noise or engaging in light conversations with both my brother and father in the hopes of keeping my fathers mind awake and alert (usually I like to just sleep through the 6-7 hour drive). There was no radio and we did not have tapes to play, nor a CD player to help with that.
After a long drive in the dark rain for a couple of hours, we entered a thick fog. It made the space around us seem a little brighter but in fact it didn't help our visibility because we could still only see a few meters of the road that was directly in front of us. However, the rain wasn't as heavy.
After 20-30 minutes in the fog, we saw that we were driving towards a section that was lit up. The light was coming from what we thought was the top of a grain elevator. We've made the trip between Regina and Winnipeg many times during our lives and know that grain elevators would be the only thing that would stand as tall. But I also thought, right away, that it was unusual for a farm building to be that close to the highway. I remember pondering the very thought in the situation, comparing past trips and recalling only to have ever seen a backlit highway billboard to have a light shining as close to the road.
We could see that the area ahead was brightly lit - as bright as it would look as if it had been day. I remember feeling some relief, though, and feeling thankful that a farmer was considerate enough to erect a building with a bright light shining on the road for travelers in the dark.
Just before we pierced through the fog to pass by the structure, the rain had completely stopped and we found ourselves in what I assumed to be the middle of the storm. Fog still surrounded us, but the light was bright enough that I could see through parts of it. My eyes scanned upwards towards the light where it was clearest and I saw that the top was a flat cone shape dome/roof. I thought that maybe I was wrong about the grain elevator because it looked more like a silo. However, just below the light was a second level of the structure that was a larger sort of base continuing to grow out like a wide-based cone. I could not see any lines, nor see through some patches of the fog to discern what the entire shape of the base was but it's presence was large - it took up as much ground space as a tall building would (that's the best I can describe it). I did not see any other lines, seams, addresses or words on its surface and there was no other colour but silver. It looked newly built out of metal.
I observed all of that within 5-10 seconds only. My eyes quickly moved to the closest light, facing towards the road. There were at least 2 other lights that I could see through the fog. They were rectangles- not too square, but not long like a fluorescent bulb either. It was so bright that eventually I felt blinded by it and saw only white. At that point, I considered that it was a new kind of agricultural architecture. I even considered that it was a set for a movie, and that some production company was shooting a film and had their brightest lights out.
As the car moved further away, the fog began to cover the light and gradually the rain pounded the road and we were back to driving in a dark storm.
No one in our car had said a word while driving through the middle of the fog. It felt as though we were in a trance for what seemed to be 10-15 minutes back into the storm. Finally my father said out loud, "What was that?!" and we all agreed that it was a strange sighting. Still, no one mentioned that it could possibly have been a UFO until the next day when my father hesitantly voiced the idea on our drive back. It was a clear sunny day with an entirely blue sky. All three of us watched the side of the road hoping to find a structure at the same location the night before to confirm that it was just a regular building, but we only saw farm fields and groups of structures in the distance.
It was only when we arrived home that we agreed that we may have seen a UFO up-close. But we've never talked about it with each other any further. Very rarely over the years we've had to ask one another about the incident to confirm that it wasn't our individual imaginations at work that night. But still to this day, we've kept it to ourselves because we don't think anyone else would believe us.
One car passed us in the opposite direction just after we drove through the fog, and there was one car at varying distances before and behind us during most of the drive. I've always wondered if they've reported anything. I feel very hesitant and awkward to talk about it, and to admit what I saw, but I'm writing this now for the record because I'm not sure I will talk about it again. If there are people who saw the same thing that night at least they can know that there are three people who saw it too.
