Alien Angel Hair Has Portugal Watching For Ufos

Alien Angel Hair Has Portugal Watching For Ufos
These willowy wisps have been seen falling from the sky around the world since at least the 1500s. They've been attributed to UFOs, spiders and religious miracles - hence the name. Witnesses in Portugal spotted them on consecutive weekends in late October. Alien angel hair is falling again and there's still no explanation for it.

An unnamed eyewitness gave this report on the Portuguese angel hair sighting:

It fell during the afternoon. I tried to inquire if aeroplanes flew over before, but no straight answer. It happened 2 weekends in a row. Me and a couple of friends sent it to be analyzed - and the weirdest things happened. It reacts to UV light. It comes alive.

Angel hair was reportedly seen at the 1561 UFO battle over Nuremburg, Germany. It was also spotted falling in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917 during the visions of Our Lady of Fatima. The most famous sightings occurred in Oloron, France, in 1952 when numerous witnesses reported seeing a fleet of UFOs followed by white hair-like fibers falling from the sky and covering the landscape. One man claimed it fell on him and, after he cut himself out, the hairs flew away. Most witnesses report that fibers melt or disintegrate upon touch, but some were collected in 1954 in Venice, Italy, and analysis determined them to be composed of boron, silicon, calcium, and magnesium.

As expected, angel hair is often attributed to spiders and, while some spiders do migrate by air, the chemical composition of their webs does not match the angel hair.

Since the angel hairs appear most often during or after UFO sightings, speculation is that they may by produced by a craft's propulsion system in a manner similar to conventional contrails (or unconventional chemtrails). A study by Brian Boldman in the International UFO Reporter in 2001 details many UFO sightings that included angel hair reports.
