According to the eye-witnesses, these strange creatures were brown in color, reaching up to 2.5 metres (over 8 feet) tall, and traversed up the mountainous terrain between five to ten minutes.
Popocatepetl is an active volcano, located in the states of Puebla, State of Mexico, and Morelos, in Central Mexico, and lies in the eastern half of the Trans-Mexican volcanic belt. At 5,426 metres (17,802 feet) it is the second highest peak in Mexico.
It has been documented on videos and still photography, that the volcano is a hotspot for UFO sightings, with various aerial anomalies seen coming in and going out of its summit crater.
